You should be able to get them at a local pbtech etc for <$10

The low capacity micro sd aren't that cheap. PBtech have some 4gb @ $17.76. You can get 16 - 64gb under $10

you can get 128gb for $10 so paying for $17 for a 8gb for a one time use is not great.
