Hi there,

My son’s birthday is coming up and he is wanting an iPhone. He is keen on something with Face ID so looking for good used iPhones. Was thinking iPhone 11 might be the sweet spot but open to other models.
I know everyone will say wait until the new iPhone 15 is released then everyone will offload their old phones but unfortunately his birthday is a couple of weeks away. Not long enough to wait :(

I was in a similar situation to you, I kept my eyes on TradeMe sorting on latest items good deal pop up but they get grabbed real quick. I also looked for Afterpay help spread the costs. My older daughters generation uses Facebook marketplace so that could be an option too.

Managed to get a 256G 12pro for $670 with a lightning port issue but in perfect condition and with box i did the numbers to fix and still worked out ok, but I fixed it with a toothpick turned out to be a ball of lint clogging to back of the port.

Anyway good hunting 🙂

Thanks, what colour is this?
And is the battery still supporting peak loads/ no unexpected shutdowns?

It's daughters phone who has upgraded. It is white.

It has never shut down unexpectedly for her, but she would only use it for the typical social media apps.
