Also what are the power requirements, could I run it off a USB powerbank?

Not sure about power bank, but runs off usual USB 5V/2A adapter. Will test for you.

@deadlyllama ... works with my 20000mAh power bank using one cable.

 

Might need two cables when spinning up hard drive, so Y-cable included.
