Hi team,

NOTE: THIS ARE NOT THE "X" MODEL.

I have these on order from Amazon AU, due to arrive Thursday.

Unfortunately, I have realised, too late, that I mistakenly ordered the model which does not support Xbox and while I won't be using them on an Xbox primarily, I'd like to have my options open.

I think I have the option to ruturn but wanted to check with the community if anyone would want to buy it off me for cost instead.

Price: NZ$580 pick up Auckland or ship at your own cost.

Cheers

I have these, and they work fine with my PS5 and Xbox. I don't recall buying the X model.

This is what I bought, and this supports PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.  The PS5 is supported via the USB C port labelled USB and the Xbox with the Port labelled Xbox.  I have been using it for 8 months no problems for both.

Unless there is some specific feature you’re after, both modern consoles support usb dacs pretty well. If you plug it straight in fair chance it’ll work.

Edit: my bad, seems like xbox series console don’t allow usb audio, devices have to masquerade as a xbox controller device to be usable haha

The model without the port specifically labelled xbox won’t work sadly.

Thanks, that was my impression as well based on my reading.. It seems like @networkn got an Xbox version without realising it?

Quick question, out of curiosity. Can you plug an input that is not an Xbox on the input that's labelled Xbox?

Thanks

From what I can find, another console won’t work on the xbox port. PC however will detect it as a xbox controller and let you output basic audio to it (without any of the extra features of the headset, sonar, EQ etc.).

Hi.

Never tried that to be honest, not sure why I would. It's either an Xbox, or I'd plug it into USB. No harm in trying it.

I suspect there may be some proprietary function in Xbox that may not work, but I can't think what it would be. Pretty sure it would work regardless.

Hey all, filling up the return form for DHL is already doing my head in..

Happy to do a deal to a Geekzoner who would take this off my hands for an easy Auckland pickup/delivery

Cheers

Hi sorry I meant to update you that yes indeed mine is an X model. Receipt makes no mention of the original url. Weird.
