As per subject. My trusty 4th gen just bit the bullet.

I really loved the 4th gen. Great screen in all conditions and I liked the buttons. Even put up with a dead battery and pixel issues this last 12 months.

Anything considered, just hoping to re-home one which may be sitting in a draw.

Hey is there more to this story?

My daughter’s fairly new kindle white has also failed just recently, stuck on the person under a tree loading screen.

Quick google shows others having the same problem despite doing the hold the button for 40s trick and trying to access via a pc etc.

That's very generous Mauricio, PM me if you prefer me to collect or to ship. I'm in Kapiti and happy to come to Wellington.

Not in this case, it's clearly a pressure impact on the screen. Against my better judgement it was rolling around in it's case in the boot of the car but I have a feeling my wife may have dropped her bag onto it without realising.
