This might be the most random request in this forum - please don't judge!

 

Does anyone still have a CD collection, and within that collection do they have a copy of Air Supply's Greatest Hits (released 1992)?  I'm on the hunt for this particular release as it has a song on it that seems impossible to find anywhere else.

I tried, but I have the 1983 Greatest Hits CD.

 

Which song were you looking for? There are a few songs on that CD that aren't on the 1983 CD or The Definitive Collection from 1999.

It's "All Out Of Love" - the 4m52s version with the extra instrumental bridge.  It only appears on the 1992 Australian edition of their Greatest Hits album.

I still have CDs but not for Air Supply I'm afraid!  Though, I just looked on Discogs and there looks to be someone selling a 1992 Greatest Hits CD in NZ, looks to be $13 including shipping ($5 CD and $8 shipping).

That's it!  Thank you so much!  Discog did have the album but it was under the minimum order and I was wracking my brains to think what other albums I would bother spending money on to make up the minimum order.  But this is perfect!

 

That's another "White Whale" I can now cross off my list...

When I was flatting we used to rip CDs like crazy.

 

This must have come past one of our computers at some stage

 

 

 

 

I can tell by the file format and other little details that it wasn't my own rip ;/

"Two Less Lonely People" for me. Given up all hope of ever being able to relate to that one. Oh well.

 

I'm not sure why Air Supply never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. I note they have a series of 50th anniversary shows in Australia later this year. I'd love to see NZ dates added.
