My son lost my wife's old Garmin Vivomove recently and we're on the lookout for a replacement. She wants something like the Vivoactive as a replacement and would like a version 4 or newer.

If anyone has one gathering dust please let me know.

Second hand often means lower battery life.

Would point out to check Amazon AU for garmin watches.

I've purchased there and supplied via UK or USA eventually, just took a lot longer to arrive but was $150 - $250 cheaper than what I could find locally.

Yip, but at north of $500 they're all out of our budget. She had been charging her old watch every few days anyway so a reduced battery health wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Understand, just raising as a possibility perhaps but all good.
Likes of Forerunner 55 around $250, Vivoactive 5 at $430ish (guessing at AU to NZ exchange rate) and free shipping.

Quick note - Rebel Sport currently have a 30% storewide deal, only on the 12th and 13th of this month.  Garmin watches look to be included from what I can see (you have to login), so a Garmin Vivoactive 6 is $440.29, so 30% off the retail price.  Looks like prices go up from there, given there has been a bit of Garmin price creep lately.

Here is a snippet of what I see, but as mentioned Thursday and Friday only.
