Anyone have a AM4 CPU with onboard graphics they want to get rid of? Should work with a B550 chipset.

CPU support list for my board: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-AX-V2-rev-10/support#support-cpu

Any of these should work

Ryzen 5000 G-Series (Cezanne):

  • Ryzen 7 5700G (8C/16T, Radeon Vega 8)
  • Ryzen 5 5600G (6C/12T, Radeon Vega 7)
  • Ryzen 3 5300G (4C/8T, Radeon Vega 6, OEM-only)
Ryzen 4000 G-Series (Renoir):

  • Ryzen 7 4700G (8C/16T, Radeon Vega 8)
  • Ryzen 5 4600G (6C/12T, Radeon Vega 7)
  • Ryzen 3 4300G (4C/8T, Radeon Vega 6)
Ryzen 3000 G-Series (Picasso):

  • Ryzen 5 3400G (4C/8T, Radeon Vega 11)
  • Ryzen 3 3200G (4C/4T, Radeon Vega 8)

Thanks

Probably going to need a bit more info on the board and BIOS.
I have some AMD A6-xxxx that work on AM4 boards but many BIOS updates removed support for them when the 5xxx CPU launched.

As an example the PRIME B550M-A and ASROCK B450M Steel Legend do not list support at all for these AM4 cpu with GPU at all.

Thanks for pointing that out. Let me do some research on what my board supports.

There’s this at pbtech https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CPUAMD03400G/AMD-Ryzen-5-3400G-CPU-4-Core--8-Threads---Max-Boos

I was considering it as an upgrade for my 2400g to get windows 11 compatibility

Was thinking of spending less than $75 :)

Just a backup CPU in case in my graphics card doesn't work.
