Does anyone have some USB wall adapters to spare? I used to have heaps gathering dust in my drawer of random cables and plugs, but it seems I've run out.  I just need them to connect up some presence sensors in Home Assistant, and to power some trickle chargers for phones around the house, so they don't need to be high speed.  Before I go and buy new, perhaps someone has a large collection and are happy to let go of a few.  In Palmerston North, but happy to pay and ship if necessary.

when you say "wall adapter" do you mean the 240v to 5v usb power supplies?

Yep.  Should be more specific - USB-A connector.

Palmy.  But if you have some to spare, happy to pay for them.  They don't need to be well protected - even a simple pre-paid post bag from NZ Post should be fine.

I have gone down the route of replacing my existing powerpoints with ones that I can add a USB outlet to.

Have fitted them in all of the bedrooms in our house as well as the kitchen etc.

How many are you after?

I can have a look around my place, I know I've got a collection of them somewhere. I'm in Levin, but visit Palmy every couple of weeks or so.

One of the 2 was faulty, probably the wall outlet as you should even be able to short them and they protect themselves from that. A test that many cheap chargers will fail on and cook themselves up.

Bummer, just last week I three about 20x 5W of these away. I might have some 10W available.

That would be fantastic.  Don't need many, maybe 3 or 4?  And not terribly urgent, so happy to wait for when you're next up in the big smoke... ;)

Arduino.  When I plug it in now it just gives a brief flash of the on-board LED and immediately shuts off.  I've not tested it, have a bunch more

2001 wants its brands back. It’s all been Schneider since the acquisition closed 24 years ago. They closed the last factory in 2018.

PDL is just a stamp these days.

No worries, I'll be in Palmy on Tuesday afternoon so can drop them off. I've scrounged up a couple of Samsung fast chargers, an older Apple 5W charger, and a 3Sixt branded dual output charger. All USB-A.

PM me your address, and I'll be in touch.
