GONE already, thanks.

This UPS needs new batteries, they are around $62+GST each, and it requires 2x. Replacing them and dealing with mains voltage is out of my comfort zone.
Other than the batteries, it's in perfect condition having been in my cabinet for the last few years.
Any takers?
Pickup only, it's heavy AF. Titirangi, Auckland.

Cheers,
Joseph

FYI, its not as hard (or expensive) as you think. From my brief internet research, they seem to take a standard 12v lead acid battery, which you can pick up from PB tech for $23 a piece, just need to match the ah rating i.e.

Replacement looks pretty straightforward and not dangerous, as long as you follow protocol https://youtu.be/59BVys-7x9Y?si=Rmxr4Py-EfgbL4oU

I've just done this myself on an ancient APS unit and it is now as good as new.

Easy as. Just a few screws and chuck new batts in. And yeah just 2 of the PBtech batts and away you go. Otherwise you can opt making someone else very happy ;-)

I have the same model.

Agreed, super easy to replace the batteries, but I'm happy to take it off your hands if you aren't keen to do it yourself. I've done it before on an old rack mount APC UPS which used battery cartridges, just had to disassemble the cartridge and replace each individual battery.

Flick me a DM if you still don't want it and I'll arrange to come collect it.

Thanks for the comments, it's been quickly claimed.

Agree it doesn't look too hard at all, I just chose the easy way out for a quick solution - throw some money at the problem!
For mains power related stuff I'd rather not rely on my own handiwork :D

Cheers,
Joseph
