Hi all,

Might be wishful thinking, but I'm after an IBM System x3650 M3 (preferably Type 7945) with the 8x2.5" front bays.

My little home server setup has given up (BRD/Planar Fault), so I'm hoping I can find a direct replacement so I can use the same rails, drive caddys etc.

Barebones is fine but happy to consider full units as well.

Pickup in Auckland preferred or can discuss shipping.

Let me know if you have anything suitable

Cheers

Depends how soon you want it.. there is a decent chance I have one of these in a pile on a shelf in my garage.

The bad news is i'm currently _really_ busy and I'm not sure when i'll have time to go digging and confirm that, and I'm also in Wellington.

That sounds promising. No stress at all on timing. I'm not in a rush.

Being in Wellington isn't a deal breaker either... depending on cost and shipping

Let me know if you do have one when you get a chance, and what condition it's in / whether it POSTs?

Thanks!

I've got a x3650 M3 sitting unused in my server room. Hardware ID is 794562m.

It's got 120gb ram and dual E5649 processors. Comes with a few spare caddies if you need them.

I've got no idea it's current value, so let me know how much it's worth to you, if you're keen.

Pickup is in Central Auckland.

Oh, that's the exact model I'm after. It's challenging to figure out how much they are worth... Would you take $150?

Yep that sounds reasonable. I'll send you a DM for payment/pickup details.
