2nd hand ones generally have word buttons, and stick drift, I'd prob just buy some off AliExpress.

Once the kids are more used to them and take care, then buy official new ones.

I have this white dualsense v2 lying around not used if you want. No stick drift and in a good condition. 

Have sold the ps4 and used this occasionally to play mobile game with phone mount.
