As in the subject title, I am looking for a remote control for an old Transonic 32 inch TV if anyone happens to have one. I don't expect one to turn up, but if it does, I will look up the model number, which is a bit difficult to get at. Would all Transonic remotes work with all Transonic TVs?

Transonic was the warehouses brand before veon. They just got whatever and slapped the name on it.

I had a prior 20" CRT from them which would respond to a philips remote, and a later LCD that seems to pick some buttons up from an akai (another badge engineer crap brand)

Even if you get a universal remote and try to code search for it, you will probably find that there are some which work to power it off and on but the menu buttons etc do not work and you have to keep searching thru 1000s of them.

When I have asked TWH in the past about a manual for an old TV they didn't sell any more they were not able to provide it as it was 5+ years since it was current.

Check out your local op shops. The Hospice Frankton (downstairs) in Hamilton has a bin of remotes. Also seen plenty them in other op shops as well.
