Apologies - for the relist. I did not read the rules for the forum and had the original post deleted. I trust this one is better.

We are selling our 2022 NZ new Nissan Leaf as we have bought a bigger car.

The car is still under the factory warranty until May 2027 and the battery until May 2030.  It has the larger 62kWh battery and the more power 160kW motor.

It's fitted with many extras including heated leather seats and all the driving extras that make driving much safer and more relaxing.

I replaced two tyres last year as one got damage by a shard of metal and the other two original tyres have about 5mm of tread (the other original is included in the sale)

We also fitted a towbar so we could carry bikes. It has a great SoH (92%) so gets in excess of 320km at highway speed, more around town.

We keep the battery between about 30-80% for everyday driving.Current mileage is  39k with RUC paid to 41750km.

It also has a 6kW charger and uses a type 2 AC plug, so much faster home charging is possible (32A) and no need to carry an adapter for use when out on teh road.

Asking price is $29,990 although happy to talk turkey.

I can post additional images, just ask for what you want to see. I would prefer a local buyer, but can help with transport as far as Timaru to Cheviot once purchased.

Edit: Added Location to Title

It was on TM since 3rd March, no queries and not much interest for the first. Then interest built over the last week as the seriousness of our situation has become apparent to people paying attention. It is a lovely little car - a bit sad to see it go.

But I have replaced it with a brand new car, our first ever so super excited. That is supposed to be here on Friday - fingers crossed. Might have to use the refundable airfare/ferry ticket that I bought as insurance to collect it from Wgtn if the promised transporter is full.

A consultants answer, it depends lol.

We did a round trip to visit family  south of Timaru  recently,  350km return,  mild weather, slight headwind on the way there. No external fittings,  2 people  in the car, used AC. Started at 96%, had 39% at destination which had an AC charger.  Topped up to 70% over lunch.  Had 19% when we got home, so used 112% for 350km. This is SH1 so relatively flat but you have to do 100kmh to avoid  holding things up.

Two weeks ago we did a holiday with bike rack carrying tandem, so extra turbulence from slight stick out and air spoilage at back. Two people  in car and about 100kg extra weight.

600km from 100%, back home at 15%

Did one fast charge to add 40%, another to add 15%, and used granny plug to add 15% one night and 35% another. Took the scenic Rakaia gorge highway so set speed limiter to 95 to better enjoy views. Used AC for much of the trip. Also some "vigorous" driving climbing out of the gorge.

Road has some hills, and does climb up the plains. Did about 250km at destination which was very hilly.

So about 190% for 600km.

Hope that helps.

Spoke to CDG today, transporter is booked for ferry south on Thursday night so likely to see the car at local dealers on Monday/Tuesday. So I will be getting a refund from AirNZ (JetStar do not have refundable fares) and ferry co.

And back to the origins of this post - the Leaf is definitely sold.

Buyer's finance co deposited $ into my bank account tonight, new owner will collect Thurs evening. I have washed and groomed it - again - and it is now sitting plugged in and quietly charging (the modern take on the old "full tank of gas" courtesy).

Haha, just after I washed and polished it we had some decent rain. So it was looking a bit sad when I got home yesterday.

After a quick wash and dry it looked like a million dollars agin and the buyer was super happy with it when he collected.

There's now a gap on our driveway.
