I found I have another ODROID-C2 Single Board Computer bundle, housed in a 3D printed case with the original case fully setup for high-performance home theater streaming.
Unlike a standard Raspberry Pi 3 which struggles with high-bitrate video, the ODROID-C2 features 2GB of DDR3 RAM, native Gigabit Ethernet, and hardware decoding built specifically for 4K H.265 playback at 60fps.
What’s Included:
ODROID-C2 Board: 64-bit Quad-Core CPU, 2GB DDR3 RAM, Gigabit LAN.
16GB MicroSD Card: Pre-flashed and currently running CoreELEC integrated with P4K (optimized for flawless 4K client streaming).
- Plastic 3D printed case with Odroid pattern and also the original plastic case provided by Hardkernel
Power Supply: Dedicated, stable power adapter. This is a barrel tip power supply and the Odroid can also use microUSB if a jumper on the board is set (jumper included)
Software Highlights: This kit comes plug-and-play ready with a dedicated P4K / CoreELEC image on a 16GB microSD card. It's optimized out-of-the-box to handle high-definition local library streaming, Plex/Kodi direct playback, and heavy media codecs effortlessly. Simply connect it to your TV via HDMI, hook up your network via the Gigabit port, link a remote or keyboard, and you have a high-tier, low-power media hub.
Built-in IR receiver and I used a Harmony remote to control it.
Was able to run Plex on it and stream 4K videos with Dolby Atmos audio with no server encoding.
Happy to ship nationwide at the buyer's expense or arrange local pickup in Wellington CBD.
