As the title says, anyone have one of these (and any idea if it would work with vista 64 (and when it comes out, win 7 64).

Cheers,

Does your motherboard have header pins for a serial com port? There would be no reason why this wouldn't work.

As to whether a PCI card would work would depend entirely on driver support.

You should imagine you'd be able be able to pick one up from a computer store.

I've made a few up myself as needed and if you're handy with a soldering iron it's a 2 min job. You just need a back plane with the DB9 connector hole and can then just get some ribbon cable, DB9 and DIL connector and make it as long as you like.

I'd be very surprised if a local PC store doesn't have one. Last time I looked there were also plenty being sold on trademe.
