I am selling my Nokia N95 on TradeMe - link here.

Auction information:

Selling as is!

You are bidding for a very reliable and genuine Nokia N95 with the latest firmware and NZ GPS map. It was bought in Singapore and has English and Chinese menu options available. This also means it can display texts / song titles in English, Chinese or even Japanese.

*****What's wrong with the phone?*****
Nothing, apart from everyday wear which does NOT affect its performance / functionality. Please note that I am NOT selling "as new".

Some of the buttons have lost their silver paint (see photo). Again, this does not affect performance of the phone. You can take it to Nokia or a phone shop to replace the buttons inexpensively.

Also, the battery cover is loose and needs replacing. You can purchase one on TradeMe for $15.

*****How is the screen?*****
Perfect. No scratches or damage. It has been protected with a screen cover since day 1. Peel off the screen protector to reveal a perfect screen.

*****Does it work on Vodafone or XT*****
Vodafone only. You just need your own SIM card.

*****Comes with...*****
1x N95 with NZ GPS map
1x 4GB memory card
1x data cable
all in original box

It's done you well! what did you replace it with?

Do you still have the TV-out cable, what software revision (30?, 31?) and any chance you can take a picture with "sports" mode, sharpness set to "soft" of something far away in good light if the top two check as "yes have cable, 30 (hackable) software"

I also have a spare navi-pad, keypad and some housing parts for one, I'd have to look how much they all cost but it wasn't excessive.

Opps, forgot to add that yes, it comes come with the TV cable.

I am going to replace it with the N97 (which I don't have yet, haha, but looking to sell the N95 first).

Firmware version: V30 - can be upgraded to V31 if required. Unbranded too.

Hmmm, I will take a photo for you to have a look. Do you want to PM me your e-mail address?

Yeah, if you can get a new housing and keypad etc parts, then you can definitely turn this well-served N95 into a younger-looking one!  I am not too good with taking phones apart so you can definitely benefit from this buy  Laughing

Too late johnr, I am always a Nokia fan and I am always going to be sucked in into buying the top end model. My N95 has served me well.

Bugger it's dark now too, good ol winter!

30 is great, in 31 they removed the hackability which is very important for my tinkering and tv out cable replacements are pricey. The new nseries really do gleam, just bear in mind that nice shiny gleam can also equal scratches!

Cool, I heard that V31 only has very minor upgrades so I kept it at V30.

Yeah I took some photos but it is dark already. I will take some tomorrow for you outside.

PS - just sent you through an e-mail.

$400 and willing to negotiate for a Geekzone member.

Check my TradeMe auction (link above) or we can do it outside of TradeMe if the auction doesn't go tonight.

I can vouch for the camera, It has great focus and a superb lens.

If only my recent visit to Auckland hadn't cost me more than double "flights + 7 nights away + theme parks and hire car" on the Gold Coast :-( cash is suddenly very tight.

Hey mate, thanks for your e-mail too. Darn, that's a shame about the unexpected costs.

I guess I will sell it as is as I am not too good with knowing how to install new housing etc. Cheers.

I believe the N97 comes with no TV-Out cable in the box, just something to think about (you could edit the auction so that the cables don't sell with it).

lol, typical, I remember paying $700 for my Nokia 6275 and it came with a slow charger and not even as much as a cheap headset!

The n95 was and always will be a legendary phone.

paradoxsm,

What do you mean by "slow charger"? You mean it takes much longer to charge up the phone? That's weird, never heard such a thing before. I thought it was dependent on the phone and the battery capacity.
