I am looking for a SSD for a HP TX1001au Tablet,
preferably over 32GB, at a reasonable price.

I could not find any on trade me that would be suitable for it, as (I believe) it only has an ATA connection on the HDD (I may be wrong).

PM me if you have one.

www.pricespy.co.nz lists both ATA and SATA versions. A bit outside my budget, but perhaps what you are after.

You can never have enough Volvos!

Thanks, but price spy looks awfully expensive.
It was just because the model I have is known to overheat after the first year or so, which is a bugger.
Does anybody know of any other websites??

SSD's are a new technology and expensive, you will likely not find any cheaper than ~$5 per GB currently vs 10cents per GB for standard drives.

Hi codyc1515,

I can do the following, although as Ragnor said, SSDs are a very new technology so prices are still quite high compared with normal drives.

ADATA 2.5" SATAII SSD 32GB Drive = $209.90
ADATA 2.5" SATAII SSD 64GB Drive = $299.90

Let me know. =]
