Hi all

A few months back I had some $$$ to burn and I had a dream that I would get my amateur radio licence. Me being me I brought the best of the best through a friend while I studied for my licence. I have since lost the desire to get my licence and I now have a very nice radio sitting here wasted as a single channel receiver . . .

For sale, 1 x Yaesu VX-8R triple band handheld with dual receive (can listen to 2 frequencies at once, independent volume controls etc). See here for all the details.

It has only been charged 3 times, it is yet to transmit, and is in brand new condition along with all packaging and factory supplied accessories. I also purchased the programming cable (USB) and software from the USA for it (RTSystems make it) and the genuine Yaesu 12V cigarette lighter lead.

I purchased the radio and 12V lead from the official NZ distributor Signals and from memory the warranty is 3 years.

All up total cost to me was just under $1200. I'm not expecting to get anywhere near this, make me an offer a couple of hundred shy and you'll probably get lucky.

Cheers

Scott
