Hi, i'm after a 1.5TB external
OR
2TB internal (7200 RPM) hard drive.
Budget: $200ish (or less of course lol)
Location: Auckland
Would be keen to hear from anyone that can do this... otherwise eBay it is lol

You can get a new enclosure for ~$50 and a 1.5TB eco/green drive for ~$160-170
eg:
http://www.gearbot.co.nz/store_products/search/vantec%20nexstar%20cx%203.5/
http://www.gearbot.co.nz/pages/prod/445/All-1.5TB-SATA-hard-drive/
2TB is likely out of the question as there are very few 7200 rpm drives and typically a new drive is over $280 NZD alone without the enclosure.
Any eco/green drive is not truly a 7200rpm but variable speed to save power ie: performance sacrificed slightly to reduce heat.
Generally less heat is highly recommended for an external enclosure!
