My wife played with one last week, but had to give it back :-(. Let us know if you find someone that imports it.

I get the feeling they will be out of stock from what i've read on the forums.

I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Cheers for your replies :)

Was driving past Parallel Imported in Albany in the weekend and saw a sign in their window saying that they are selling them.  I quickly pulled over and went in for a nosey to see one in person.

They had quite a few 16GB Wifi models in stock.  At $1349.00 a pop there is no wonder why...

It is fairly likely that I will be in California around 20th may. Back around 25th may. I am not interested in purchasing a unit for myself. Depending on stock being available when I pass an apple store, I am happy to bring 2 back with me, cost price plus 8.75% sales tax, plus a little more ontop for my efforts. Send me a private message if you like, and we can see what can be arranged. Regards Greg.

Apparently they have some at Quay Computers in Wellington as well. But you should really try http://www.toshcomputers.com.

Yeah keep us posted! Would be interested to find out if Toshcomputers has it in-stock:) Their prices seem to be the cheapest out of other retailers.

Managed to grab one off trademe.

I only got it to test it out for the community groups i work with.

So:

In about 2 weeks I will have a pristine (case and screen protector from unboxing) iPad for sale.

It'll also come with a US iTunes account (I'm creating one especially) and will probably have some credit on it.

Anyone interested?
Any profit I make will go to a charity
Cheers
