I've got a room available in our 7th floor 3 bedroom apartment in the central city, is located seconds away from University and the rest of the CBD (address is: 21 Whitaker Place).

Is fully furnished, all you need to move in is yourself!

The $158/week is all inclusive (other than food/beer), so this means: power + internet + water.

You won't find better deals than this for such a location! (we're in a crisis: Rental market madness)

The current flatmates are both our mid twenties. I'm a web developer, been an Aucklander my whole life. The other one is recently moved up from Christchurch for his new job in sales (and he is also a budding web entrepreneur in his spare time after work). So geeks are particularily welcome in this flat ;-)

Facilities: gym / spa / pool / movie theater. Also downstairs there is a liquor store and diary.

Building has a lot of short term tourists and foreign students (as it is sort of run like a hotel, but we rent favorably directly from the owner instead of through the building/hotel management), which makes for a good mix of lots of interesting people to meet there too. :)

Get in touch directly by messaging me here or just reply to the thread if you want to know more!

Sounds pretty good to me.. What about car parking though? or I assume that isn't something I sort with you, rather the manager of the complex?

Can I bring my wife and kids? Or send just the kids?

There is actually a web site where you can advertise for people from Christchurch.

EDIT:  You can list it for free on TradeMe for helping people from Christchurch.
