hey Noig i am running dd-wrt on an old pc with 2 nics. look for x86 in the Router database on DD-WRT site.

It seems to work very well i have had no issues over the last couple of week since i have been using it

nigel
I like to get ddwrt with voip and vpn setup.
ATM I have a very good modem/router(new fritzbox7270) though the vpn services I like are not possible with that.
That's the reason I'm looking at a new setup, Router:Netgear WNR3500L and a linksys am300
