Hey guys,

I am after a damaged or broken kindle 4, I really just need a dummy so I can use the case dimensions for a project I have coming up. The outer shell needs to be in good condition but if the kindle itself isn't working that's fine.

I can imagine it might be a little too soon to find a broken one but you never know!

Cheers

Alex

I've tried asking Dick Smith, walmart, Staples, Best Buy and Amazon. Finally found one on reddit! Hopefully I can buy this one.

eBay? You will be surprised how soon replacement parts become available from Hong Kong. At work we bought a Kindle and a few other items for teardown, but unfortunately nothing will be dumped for a few years. Also have a number of industrial sunlight readable LCDs ideal for my car, but the company is holding onto the samples, for now...

You can never have enough Volvos!

Tried eBay, found 2 in as is condition not working but won't allow bids from outside USA eBay accounts, even though it's going to be shipped within America. That's all there was, don't seem to be many parts around for them, I have done searches specifically for 'kindle parts' and had no luck.
