Can anyone help with the above, I need it for an old CDMA phone - Telecom won't generate a new number for an old phone like this.

TIA Smile

They wouldnt even swap 2 CDMA numbers over when I asked in december so I could port one to somewhere else but have a working number on the good phone. Dont rate your chances on connecting something to a network in its death throws even with a number to use.

My understanding is that unless you're a business user who hasn't migrated you won't get a CDMA handset provisioned onto the network, regardless of whether you have a number or not.

Telecom said no problem to hook to the network, I just need an existing number that is not being used - they will not/can't allocate a new number though.

You won't be able to get a number switched or added to a old CDMA device anymore since they are trying to get people /off/ that network.

What type of phone is it?

Just confirmed again with them - I CAN get it connected, I just need a unused but current number. It's a Sanyo 7400.
