My wife has this white laptop. When it was purchased it had Windows XP on it but our son put a beta version of Windows 7 on it. After W7 was released, the beta version didn't work so well, so I purchased a legit version of W7 Home Premium for it. There still seemed to be OS issues and I didn't know how to fix them and my wife got sick of the problems so we bought her a new laptop.

We were going to just throw the old one away but physically it's in good nick and it seems a pity to just chuck it out.

If someone who knows what they are doing with OS's would like it, it's now for sale at $50 on an 'as-is where-is' basis. There also seems to be a bit of an issue with the socket where the power supply plugs into the side of the machine - it's a bit loose.

Here's link to a website that shows what it's like and specs etc:

Any interest?

Great. I've PM'ed back. BTW, I meant to add that it comes with the small 'brick' power supply but the 'figure 8' cable from the wall socket to the brick will be missing - I need it for something else. You will need a cable like this:

Yeps replying shortly to your email! No problems!, I can steal a figure 8 cable from another component :-)
