I have a Roku XD Media Player from the US.

I have lost the remote so you'll need a universal remote to use it (eg logitech harmony)

It comes with power cord and is 110-240v switchable so you just need an adapter plug not a transformer to use it.

You'll also need a VPN for US content.

Free to good home.  Pickup is in Miramar after hours or Wellington City during the day.

I have a Roku media player and from recollection it doesn't use IR but BT. Or at least mine does since I can wave the remote all over the place to play Angry Birds!

The phone has to be rooted to do that and mine isn't. But I found the apk anyway and will try it out when I get the chance.
