I have a GPS 103 tracker with a vodafone prepaid sim card. It reports position and status etc, just fine via text message. However to do real time tracking, I need to input the vodafone APN, DNS number, and Port number.

From the net I have   www.vodafone.net.nz,  202.20.93.10,  and   203.97.191.189.

Are these the correct details? Vodafone tells me that the device sets the port, yet the manual says to input the port number via text message. Any help appreciated

Cheers

You asked the same question on the Vodafone forum a while ago and I posted a reply approx 6 minutes after you posted

Oh OK didn't realise the forums crossed over, - that's great. Didn't mean to step on any toes. Just trying to gather information. The manual says to send the APN, DNS and Port number to the unit. The voda forum only responded with the APN. The SIM is data enabled, just trying to set it up to do real time tracking.
