I have a Navman MY90XLT and wish to know whether I have successfully updated my maps with my lifetime subscription.
Can you confirm the map update by looking in any particular folder on the NAVMAN? If so, which one?
Do the numbers that appear on the initial screen have any significance?
Despite having gone through the Navdesk 7.50 programme update, it seems that the maps are still not the contemporary issue.

Do you mean you had to input the serial number of the device to register for a map upgrade?

Thanks -looked in that (similar) folder and found a file called Mapdata_NTNZ1_v1305_9-10-13_5003.iso which I presume is the map update although the date seems unlikely.
I copied it into the Navman at :\Navman\Maps but when checking the settings =>help tabs the Map installed suggests the file T-core-v1_52-0095_2012/11/23-17:45:45- an even earlier map build!
Is there something wrong about the logic employed here?

I tried to update a NavMan for someone else before Christmas and I don't know if they're particularly useless device / company or if the software is (was) just buggy under Windows 8, but it was a cumbersome process which I'm still not sure actually worked ... some of the Auckland motorway directions are still definitely wrong. :-(

I didn't know if that was pertinent, but this upgrade was attempted under Windows 8.1
