Hi wondering if anyone has dealt with gps-newzealand.com? Inlaws are after a standalone gps unit for travel and bundles here seem quite good. Thanks

Not saying that it's not a good place to buy from, but looking at it the '"Deals" seem on the expensive side, for example, Garmin Montana, special price $999, I got one several months ago for $800 from PB Tech, heard of other who have got it for as low as $650.

The Colorado, a now discontinuted model, since 2009 selling for $799.

I would steer clear, plently of NZ based stores on-line and physical selling for much cheaper

They have a Contact Us page with an address in Auckland. Perhaps pay them a visit instead?

The garmin nuvi 2595 deal for $269 with nth America and Europe maps is what they are interested in. I think the cheapest just for the unit I've seen is around $220. I'm in chch, so can't pay them a visit. Will probably steer clear as it seems to good to be true unless someone has bought from them before.
