For those that like me don't run tomtom home on the pc often tomtom have finally released Mapshare technology to NZ. I'm absolutely wrapped! I emailed tomtom support only about 4 weeks ago to ask when/if this would be happening and was given a totally non-commital answer so was rather suprised to find its now on! Just download the latest tomtom application via TOMTOM home and update your unit and away you go! I'm stoked as theres a corner mine always tells me to take that the council put a traffic island in front of so you can no longer turn right into it - easy to fix with mapshare! Also another street it always told me to take but its full of speed humps so I just dropped the speed limit on that street to 25kph so now my tomtom defaults to the alternate route!

So common users - start submitting fixes, so far my tomtom has only downloaded 4 mapshare updates for the whole country!
