A relative bought one of these (link to the warehouse but it was purchased from Temu) and now wants help setting it up. 

 

A quick look seems to be that they are 2G only and i understand that Voda is the only 2G network left. Has anyone had any success with these. I'm assuming at $8 from Temu the answer is no, but interested before I invest time looking into it.

No, they're useless. They are NOT GPS. They just use cell tower location.... thing is, if the nearby tower covers a 20km radius, all you'll know is that the unit is within that radius...

 

We looked at using them for putting on training dummies, but were no use.

 

If they want GPS tracking, buy a 2nd hand Samsung phone and use that....
