Hey,

So was looking through Stuff and see that they had a review on the TomTom XL 340 http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/gadgets/2517693/Review-TomTom-XL-340/. Now on the review it says that it has Advance Lane Guidance, but from what I can tell this is not on New Zealand Maps?

I am running a TomTom Go720 with V830.2349 maps which are the latest for my device, and there is no advance lane guidance.

So am just wondering if there is advance lane guidence in NZ or not?

Using a TomTom Go 930 but still on 725.1885. Thanks for clarifying lack of advance lane guidance and will be less likely to upgrade soon. Lane guidance was one of the features I was looking for in the 930, just NZ maps do have the data

BTW, when did the v8 maps for NZ get released?

I think they maps I am using were released in May or so. So good to have IQ routes, actually has changed some of the routes that it recommends me to take, and does seem to make the trips that little bit quicker.

Alright well seems like there are no Advance Lane Guidance in NZ, shame really, guess it a good thing we don't have big motorway intersections!
