Wondered how it compared to others such as Tom Tom and Sygic and which the majority of geeks preferred on their GPS equipped phone.

I had one beta version late last year and it was nice - wireframe and building views while on 3D is nice. I didn't know it was released already.

I only use Google Maps on my devices these days.

Had thought of that as well but as a matter of safety I wanted voice 'turn-by-turn' as part of whatever I used.

Tom Tom seems good but seems to be costly, otherwise Sygic might be the best of the bunch. Do others agree?
