When driving home today in Hamilton, a Terralink "Street Cam" Vehicle with Cameras pointed 360 degrees around the vehicle passed me.
Had a look on their website and this is all the info I can find - Link

Its been on the road for at least a year... The AA also have a vehicle doing similar work.

StreetView as a product does not have the accuracy that the others will have, but then the two NZ companies are doing it for different reasons. They are Mapping companies who want to be able to Geo-Tag road information, and perhaps buildings.
