Hi Guys, does anyone know how long it takes to receive the free NZ mapping updates once you've sent away for them?
I received an email from them in august saying that they are processing my claim and have not heard anything else.

As per navmans website

Delivery will be made before 31 December 2009.

It is also in point 10 of the terms and conditions.
If you have any questions, then it says to contact them via
0800 787 484 or navmanpromos @ redeemit.co.nz

Received the updates in the post yesterday but of course the product key that comes with them is invalid! Nothing's simple these days

Did you get the valid key in the end?

What would have been an old promotion drgattaca. As you will see this post is two months old now.

Yeah got it working in the end. I'm a bit ashamed to admit it but it turns out that you need to install the navdesk program that comes on the disc regardless of whether navdesk is already installed on your pc. Glad I figured it out because navman never responded to my email.

It was part of a promotional thing navman did. You have to send away for it then they'll send you the disc with the updated version of navdesk and the maps

I wish the map upgrade for the S-Platinum series didn't cost $150, nearly half the price of a brand new model :S Otherwise I would buy an upgrade.
