May I have advise on what TOMTOM model car GPS to buy? I don't need a high end one with too many features. My basic need is the so-called lane guidance feature as I usually get caught in the wrong lane. A minimum 4.3 in. screen would also be good. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if the line guidance feature is available on NZ maps. I've got it on mine, but only works on the UK maps, not the NZ one.

They've just added lane guidance to Tom Tom NZ..

I've got a Tom Tom XL One and have no complaints.

I have an TomTom "One" that is a couple of years old. Love the Tomtom brand and will update to another without question. I think the lane guidance is available now in NZ on all but the basic models.

Next time I will definitely go for the larger 4.5" screen, other than that very happy with current model

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

The TomTom XL 250 looks good, and I saw a few on TradeMe.

Is TomTom considered better than Garmin?
