Yes, it is possible. Just need someone to develop the application, the interest from the Fire Service to fund the infrastructure, and operators.

Would probably raise some interesting privacy issues in NZ too.....

I can see the US version creating lawsuits too, " you told this boob to come and give my mate CPR, but he died, why didn't you send this other guy who would have saved him...."

Emergency services are respected to provide a "best effort" service, but I am not sure that would extend to the general public.

hey Ive had one Heart attack and i would rather you have a go than not
But I think that the persons on the "list" have to be qualified
but the bottem line is that the iphone can work the same way here as in the states? now just need a couple of mil to throw at it !
