The new maps version out has a cool new feature.

 Previous versions were fairly good at caching tiles for offline use - now 5.7 will download all tiles for a specified area of about 10 sq miles for up to 10 blocks. Itll make maps much more usable to have those areas pre-cached quickly for future use.
