I have to say as a owner of a Navman I would never buy one again. The hardware and software on the device has been OK but if you need map updates, extra maps or worse yet are unfortunate enough to need support then my experience of dealing with Navman has been appalling.
If I was getting another I would look at Tomtom or Garmin.

thanks for your advice I decided to get a Garmin Nuvi 1350 only problem is it keeps turning off when I turn the car off and I can't find an option to stop it from doing this.
