Hi there,

I have an HTC Surround (T8788), and I just realised today when my friend tried to send me a picture that I can't receive them, I just get a message that has a link saying get media content now, which I click on and it makes a sound then comes back and nothing happens. I tried looking at apn settings on the 2degrees site but they are only for internet and email which I don't have a problem with..

any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried sending a MMS? Test to your own mobile number

The settings are here. And, yes, test by sending a MMS to yourself.

Do you have Mobile Data enabled? My WP lives on wifi 99% of the time, and I get the same message when I am sent an MMS. Turning on the mobile data enable me to receive the image.

I have looked at that page before, as well as a few others, and they always seem to have more options that what my phone allows me to imput, all I can set is APN USERNAME PASSWORD PROXY SERVER/URL PROXY PORT

I have also tried enabling mobile data, It doesn't seem to have helped..

Go to the Marketplace and download the HTC Connection Setup. It will automatically configure this for you.
