My Global mode has ceased working on both Netflix and BBC inlayer. Is anyone else experiencing this? I can't seem to resolve it at my end.

Cheers.

Netflix is working for me on my $5 service, unblock-us.

I wonder why your $0 service is down?

(lighbox is also working just fine too - but then that doesn't require global mode at all)

Because one has nothing to do with the other?

They pay for an internet service that offers global mode. If Netflix isn't working, they're not getting that.

they aren't paying for global mode.  hence 'you get what you pay for'

pay $0 for something which normally costs $5 standalone, and don't be surprised when it doesn't work as well as the $5 service.

I'm with Mynxnet, which also offers Global Mode, and Netflix is working. It therefore does appear to be a Slingshot-specific problem.

Just a word of advice: Perhaps put something a little more descriptive than "not working". Does it complain that you're outside the US? Does it give another error message? Does the site itself load and fail to play videos, or does it not even get that far? Although it's likely that the problem affects all Slingshot customers, there's no guarantee of that so having a bit more detail could help to track down where the issue lies.

Hey guys,

We touched base with the Global mode team this morning so I'm just letting y'all know what was up on the weekend.

 - Bit of proxy trouble on Sat morning, sorted by ~11am
 - A Netflix change was causing some errors in some of their clusters (bout a 10% error rate according to the testing the team were doing)
 - An attempt to fix this from the Global Mode side fell over. That was sorted pretty quick but there would have been issues from ~4:45 - 5:15pm on Saturday

Should be all good now though :)

Cheers,
Chris
