Hi,
Anyone besides me getting really poor speeds on gmail / google connections? Using the ISP's DNS, so any load balancing / caching should be active (if they provide this).
For example, here is a traceroute to Facebook (good response times:)
$ traceroute www.facebook.com
traceroute to star-mini.c10r.facebook.com (179.60.193.36), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

and here is a traceroute to GMail (mail.google.com):
$ traceroute mail.google.com

"1851.616ms" - come on, that can't be "normal", surely??
So, what's happening between hopes 6 & 7 on my Gmail trace?
Currently, gmail is basically unusable.
Have tried a router reboot just on the off chance that it was something local. It isn't as far as I can tell...
