Ive switched to 2 degrees from Spark after purchasing the new Huawei P30 through them on pre order. After discovering there Hero Mobile plan.

Thats aside though as with that process requires a porting from Spark to 2 degrees.

Yesterday when I signed the contract the CSR said the port should take around 4 hrs. So go home and to work. Nothing happens so far. Today I ring the CSR-mmmm there appears to be a problem was your account Pre pay with Spark no it wasn't-(thats what they were getting as a problem) The CSR then asked me to read out the sim card number  of my spark sim.

But alas when I get home from work tonight my Spark account is still running so the Port has again not worked again.

Does this happen often ??

I could go to an 022 number but would prefer to keep the number ive had some years.

Porting is a complex beast, they'll get it sorted eventually. Call them again or maybe @2degreescare can help.

I did the same thing. Port took a couple of days but worked out in the end.

For porting from Postpaid it requires the account number (well - at-least it did with me) and not the sim number.

So you don't use the SIM card number but the account number from Spark

I have given @psychrn next best idea I called his number with 022 instead of 027 and it's not allocated to a connection

Unfortunately that number was not available !! but never to mind as when I went to pick up the new Huawei at 2 Degree at the base I called into the Spark outlet around the corner.

After a few mins the CSR has found the problem- I had previously put a preorder into Spark for the new Huawei P 30 pro before I found the Plan from 2 Degrees for heros.

I had gone into their store and cancelled the order or so I thought and paid off the difference in my old Note 8.

So they didnt cancell the order in their system so that was the block which makes sense doesnt it.

So hopefully now it will go through.

Now with the p30 Pro unboxing
