Because apparantly slingshot seem to think so.

flatmates xnet connection is correctly billed as not rural.

Reference: 100214-000041 if someone at slingshot wants to look up the staff member with geography issues.

Hey, I grew up in Beach Haven over 40 years ago and it wasn't rural then, and when in Auckland last November I took a drive out there and it still looks urban to me. It has judder bars, in Tramway Road, that means it's urban.

Lol, Beach Haven being rural.

I'm in Birkdale and we're billed as urban. So you should be to.

Is this a WxC or a Slingshot issue? xnet isn't Slingshot's brand.

It was a slingshot issue, the flatmate has an xnet connection which is billed right.

In their defence I have seen the Telecom provisioning system get 'confused' before. The CSR does not choose whether the address is rural or not, its all automated and takes some intervention to right these strange ones.
