It appears (rumoured) that 2 degrees has employed into a management position one of the people that was held responsible for the XT meltdown.
Could it be that they can’t afford experienced and capable staff?
If the rumour is true this guy would have gone cheap, this may aid cost to customer but come on 2 degrees people want a network without incompetent outages. At this point I would love to see 2 degrees succeed but if they keep loosing experienced staff and employing incompetent ones they will go down a path not seen since Woosh( I consider them history they may prove me wrong), as a veteran of the telecommunication industry if they play the game of engineering frugalness they will pay in the long run (that means you as a customer as well).
