Yeah, sorry forgot to update. It got slowly worse throughout the night. I was in bed by 9pm but according to my housemate it was just like other nights by that stage.

FireEngine: Thanks everyone, peak time when the symptoms show is now passed. I'll look at the data together with your comments and discuss with the team tomorrow am, fuller update in the pm.

Thanks

Hi All,
So comments from last nights testing are leading us to put in a phase 2 of this change tonight, after midnight (sorry can't do it before then), this should resolve the issue for Chorus UFB connections and potentially resolve it for the other LFCs but I won't be as sure here until the phase 2 is in.

So tonight should be broadly the same experience as last night, impact mostly reduced and delayed, more concentrated towards 9pm.

Thursday night should see further improvement.

Thanks

Regards FireEngine

Then it can't be related - unfortunately we can't ensure only the issue we are addressing here occurs on a network this big, if your connection is bad from 3pm then it is a local or different issue that is coincident in time and it needs troubleshooting (on any given day we probably have 50-100 new technical faults affecting individual circuits so some unrelated issues will occur at the same time as changes are made as here, that can't be avoided).

The symptom we are addressing also doesn't require high pings.

PM me your account details and I'll take a look.
