freitasm: If you have a NFC-enabled Android device you can download the Snapper app now (on any network). You won't be able to use it as a Snapper card unless you have the appropriate SIM from 2degrees, but you can read Snapper cards and topup Snapper cards - very handy since it makes it a lot easier to reload those!



From the Q & A:

Will other NFC capable handsets (e.g. Parallel Imported, bought overseas) be compatible with the Touch2Pay service????????????????Not at the moment. For our launch phase the service will only work on Touch2Pay handsets available from 2degrees. Later in the year we expect to make small changes to the service which will make it compatible with many NFC handsets regardless of where they come from.?
