Have you got an open ticket yet? I am seeing 4ms to Whangerei currently. Starting to wonder your issue is deeper in the Nothpower network.

Tier one has just asked for a default of the modem and to monitor it. That's it.

kornflake: orcon can not control or gaurentee speed / throughput out side their network.

Thing is it's both outside and inside and has been for pretty much 5 weeks. I know that they can't guarantee but going as low as this it's insane.

One of the reasons I left Orcon was getting sick of modem resets as the first line of defence.  My own stupid fault for wanting to use a range other than 192.168.1.x for my LAN, I guess...

I really dislike how many times I've had to reset the modem when it's clear it isn't working. I know it's standard procedure but 6 times? Surely it isn't working.

Pinging Orcon's main website is resulting in 160-250MS~

I understand that UFB is 'best effort' bandwidth so I'm trying to be reasonable, but how close to the 'advertised' speeds am I meant to get, even locally? We pay for 100/50, however even on local Speedtests (to Orcon) we never seem to top more than 70mbit. Tests done over LAN with minimal other users on the network...

I would not call it best effort if it's struggling.
