Eureka.

Been lurking this thread for a good while now :P

Thought I'd post and confirm national and international speeds have improved greatly.

This seems a tiny bit mental :

quakeguy: Eureka.

Can you shed more light on this or is this a need to know basis?

Bump! I'd like to know more about this issue if possible. It certainly looks to be resolved for some people in this thread. I'm away from my UFB property for a week so I can't test it.

Should the issue be resolved for all Snap UFB customers ??

Thanks.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

From what i've heard it was a Chorus backhaul/handoff issue.
So it only affected people who had UFB via Chorus.

Well that's me then. Chorus UFB install 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it's fixed then. I'll test when I am back at the property next week.

Thanks.

All things being equal, it's definitely much better now. Speedtest results are much closer to advertised speeds and downloads from US servers are now about twice as fast.

fwiw that server is real screwy in transfer speed from the US... if window size set large then it gets up to fast speed then keeps trying to go faster and suddenly drops.  it also starts off a bit sluggish.
